In 1551, Jean Cinquarbres republished Münster’s edition as his main text but with marginal notes in order to add “a sufficiency of authorities” and to defer to “the ancient author.” Besides possessing Münster’s notes which were not included in the latter’s work, Cinquarbres likely had access to various copies of Hebrew Matthew.
